Hello,

I'm brand new to the basic micro studio, and a noob to programming I'm having a problem I was wondering if I could get a little help?
I have the newest version installed. I have the arc32 hooked up via usb . In the bottom window when I look at the terminal it is showing a loop of the voltages I have going to the board.

Now the question, when I try to program I get a pop up window that says "error starting compiler"
and another window that says
"starting compiler...
The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more detail."

What do I need to do?

Scott

Could you describe your PC for us for future reference? Maybe we can see a pattern to this kind of problem.
