 Post subject: Error compiling a program in the NANO8

Hi,
I am experiencing an error when compiling a program in the NANO8. It is a simple program and the error it is look like the compiler can not find the EE memory. The program run OKAY using NANO18 or 28. Here it is the error I am getting. There are about 20 more errors same as these two. Attached it is the source code.

Warnings/Errors/Messages:
Error[113] C:\Program Files (x86)\BasicMicro UK\BMUK Nano IDE\system\mbasic14\mbasicmac.lib 824 : Symbol not previously defined (EEADR).
Error[113] C:\Program Files (x86)\BasicMicro UK\BMUK Nano IDE\system\mbasic14\mbasicwork.lib 560 : Symbol not previously defined (EEADR).

Using IDE version 1.0.0.0

The problem is here that the Nano-8 does not have internal EE memory hence the error code,

My program doesn't used the EE memory.

HI

YES Sorry I did not look at the code at that stage and it was only bacause the error code was related to that EEPROM and you mention it worked with the two larger Nano range I had assumed that you were calling the EEprom commands however I have now downoaded the software and when the Nano-8 was selected it compiled and linked fine so I wonder if there is some problem with your install of the studio and maybe a file missing in the Nano-8 files section ?,

Hi,
Let me reload the software again and see if the problem it is fix. I was wonder because the program ran OKAY using the 18 &28.
