Hi I have just started working with the Nano8 having previously using the Basic stamp.
My query is how do i use the SER pin? I want to make it high but the command for the other output pins i.e. High p0 don't work with High p4

The following is my little test program, could someone suggest how it should read.

Main
High p4
Pause 1000
Low p4
Pause 1000
Goto Main

Thanks

John

Hi,
Try using s_out for the pin 4

Main
high s_out
pause 1000
low s_out
pause 100
goto main

Good luck

Hi

YES there are a few little problems with the pin mapping for the Nano-8 so as you have found the SER pin does not work with P4 however if you were to use P5 it would work OK or s_out as mentioned in the post by tauro,

These little bugs will be fixed on the next version of Studio however one of the forum members has done a work around for this that works fine,

See http://forums.basicmicro.com/topic9873.html?sid=b924c57eb4809534ef34720ee3994a87

Here you can download the new .LIB files with the patch and place them in your Studio SYSTEM directory,

Good Luck and let us know how how you get on,

Thanks
Dave
