I have a Roboclaw 2x5a v3.0.9. (bought via Pollin) on my Desk. I have problems using the speed control. I have set up two motors with Quad encoders with 240000 QPPS (measured manually).
PID values are default.
When using the set Duty mode (-1500,1500) everything works fine , but the speed controller doese'nt. I guess the speed is given in QPPS, at least it is the output when reading the speed value (when run in duty mode). Here is the effect I observed
When setting SetM1SpeedAccel(120000,120000) I would expect the motor during with 50% within 1 sec, but the motor turns with 100% in zero seconds. The same is true for any value >10
When setting SetM1Speed with a value (0-500) the motor also starts turning very slowly until 100%.
Am I doing anything wrong?
Is there a way we can do a firmware update? We have bought the device via Pollin.
