Yes, I kind of got that, but what I ment was can you be more specific about what the commands should do.

It'll take me a while to dig it up, but The commands to read/write the GP Player (sequencer).

I was thinking that the SEQuence was in SSC-32 EEPROM,

How about Sequences in the SSC-32? The GP_SequencerManual has examples.

so maybe support some Sequencer strings?

Code:
; Run PLayer 0 on SeQuence 0 with Speed Multiplyer = 100%
; at IndeX 0 (step 0) with a PAuse between index/step = 0 ms

   serout SSC32,I38400,["PL0 SQ0 SM100 IX0 PA0", 13]

Sorry I can't be more helpful. It's been a while since I played with it.

Yes, that is the plan. To add seq support(eg the sequencer commands). But I'm not planning on adding it as a general command in the basic language, just as code in the SSC-32 emulator code.

That should be fine! After looking at them a little more, they're basically EEPROM commands.

Having collections of code for these applications would be very useful. Like a "BasicLib", so to speak. Tutorials could give examples how to use them.

Thanks!

Thats the idea of the Library menu in Studio. We have only added a few bits to it so far but we plan on adding things over time. Tutorials, datasheet examples, full projects, and library functions written in Basic.

If anyone wants to they can submit their own code/project/library to be added to the Library menu, or users can add there own files to their Library folder in the Studio installation folder for easy access to functions they use often.

Note: I don't think the current code up on this thread compiles with the current IDE. Need to change SetHserial to SetHserial1 and need to change the syntax of one of the hserin commands.

I updated these and it compiled, but warning I have not tried it out!

Thanks Kurt. I do believe that is all you have to do to get it working with the new compiler.
