Thought someone else would like another example of how to interface a Nano-40 to a DS1302 RTC (Real Time Clock).

My example is very basic and was developed for someone who hasn't had a-lot of experience with programming in experience. I kept the use of variables down to a minimum and tried to only use subroutines that completed a certain task. I've include codes examples of single register addressing and using the burst mode. I've include a basic abstract also for reference.

Enjoy!

Nice job, Brian! I made it a sticky so it will always be available to everyone in the future.

Your welcome Shawn, sorry for the rather late "your welcome" as I didn't see your response on this post.

Glad you found the code useful. I intend to post more examples for others to use as I progress in my projects.

Thanks-Brian
